Amayia Cordova

Amayia Cordova is an insurance professional and emerging leader in the industry, currently holding a position as Group Benefits Underwriter with The Hartford. 

Since joining NAAIA in 2021, Amayia has been a dedicated and active member, serving as the Programming Co-Chair and also the Coach for 2024 NAAIA Case Competition.

While attending the University of Connecticut, Amayia participated in the NAAIA case competition, where she gained invaluable experience and insights.

Her involvement in NAAIA is not just professional, but deeply personal; and she uses her membership as a platform to give back to her community, ensuring that people have a safe space where they feel heard and valued.



Amayia has aspired to matriculate into the insurance industry since a young age and is passionate about creating a positive change both within the industry and the broader community.
