Monique Biggs

Monique Biggs is the Assistant Director of Media, Public & Community Relations at The Hartford. She is a DEI Champion, Chairman's Award Winner, HBJ 40 under 40 Class of 2021 and 100 Women of Color winner. In her current role she collaborates with the marketing and communications team and community stakeholders to enhance the company’s brand and reputation in key areas of inclusivity, such as the Adaptive Sports Program, Junior Fire Marshals safety program, and the world champion Paralympian brand ambassadors.

Before joining The Hartford, Monique served as the director of marketing and community relations at The First Cathedral and Capital Preparatory Magnet School. She was responsible for developing and managing marketing, advertising, and public relations plans, as well as community relations programs. She began her career in the insurance industry as an associate account executive at Travelers Insurance Companies. There, she managed large multi-claim accounts involving asbestos, lead paint exposure, and other toxic-tort litigation across multiple jurisdictions throughout the United States.

Her diverse experience in marketing, public relations, and insurance has equipped her with a broad skill set and a deep understanding of community engagement and support.
